Signing of the PBP 2027 Agreement

The Fédération Française de Cyclotourisme (FFVélo) and the Audax Club Parisien jointly signed an agreement setting forth the reciprocal administrative terms for holding the 21st edition of PBP.

About PBP
Paris-Brest-Paris Randonneur is the world's oldest and most popular long-distance cycling event. First held in 1891, it has been a non-competitive sporting event open to all since 1931. It takes place every 4 years and is organized by the Audax Club Parisien.
In PBP, riders cycle from Paris to Brest and back — more than 1,200 km — at their own pace. It is NOT a race. All finishers within the time limit are equally recognized. The wonderful public cheers riders day and night along the route.
How to Qualify from UAE
Step 0: Pre-Registration
In 2026, ride successfully at least one BRM to be able to pre-register earlier for PBP. Your longest BRM completed in 2026 determines your pre-registration date — the greater the distance, the sooner you can pre-register, and thus choose your starting wave. Cyclists who haven't ridden a BRM in 2026 can also pre-register, but at a later date.
Step 1: Complete SR Series
Complete BRMs of 200, 300, 400, and 600 km in the qualifying period (2026 or 2027 before PBP). All must be ACP-homologated.
Step 2: Register via Audax UAE
Once you have Super Randonneur status, register for PBP through Audax UAE. We handle the ACP coordination and submission.
Step 3: Prepare & Ride PBP!
Train for the 1,220 km distance. Night riding experience is essential. Consider doing a 1000 km BRM as preparation. August 22-26, 2027 in France — join 8,000 randonneurs from 70+ countries on the legendary route.
